The Dark Knight

Getting ready to watch The Dark Knight in preparation for seeing The Dark Knight Rises sometime this week. Batman Begins is still my favorite Batman film, though. The Dark Knight just isn't as good as Batman Begins. I don't think so anyway. What do you think? And Christian Bale is my all time favorite Batman/Bruce Wayne. He's the only actor to play him who 1. makes a distinct difference between the two and 2. he's the only actor who hasn't portrayed Bruce Wayne as themselves, there's a definite character there.

And I'm really impressed with the cast Christopher Nolan assembled for Batman Begins and The Dark Knight, with the exceptions of Katie Holmes and Maggie Gyllenhaal, both of whom suck. Aaron Eckart I thought was a very weak Harvey Dent/Two-Face. And what is up with casting Anne Hathaway as Catwoman? The few movies I've seen her in she wasn't that good, and she's certainly not sexy as Catwoman should most definitely be.
